This winter is probably the longest winter E-V-E-R! I’m sure you will agree with me. I can’t even remember what sun’s warmness on my face is. All I can reckon now is the rain, the cold, and the snow. Damn! I need to relocate under the sun, London winter is way too hard. Before I’m able to do so I decided to try a whole new skin routine based on Vitamin C to boost my skin glow. As hard winter
can be for your skin there is a solution to it!
What Vitamin C is made for and how does it help your skin?
Vitamin C is a powerful anti-oxidant, incorporate into a skincare routine it will mainly targeting uneven skin tone by reducing redness. It also helps to reduce signs of age, never too early to start 😉
The Ordinary – Vitamin C Suspension 30% in Silicone
It’s quite a strong product and I believe it can be aggressive for a sensitive skin. At least, it has been for mine the first time I used it. I might be using a bit too much of it, so I definitely recommend to mix it with your usual moisturising cream, at least at the beginning. I use it every morning and it remains an amazing product, really cheap (I think I paid it less than £5) and super efficient. It offers a smooth finish, the skin immediately appears to be clearer and softer.
The Body Shop – Daily Glow Cleansing Polish
I love to have a face cleanser to use when I shower so I decided to go for the daily glow cleansing polish from The Body Shop. I massively love The Body Shop, I believe they do good products for a quite reasonable price. But for the first time, I’m disappointed by one of their product. Let’s be honest, the cleansing polish perfectly does the job. It’s a scrub which is quite soft to use for the skin, but the smell is awful. To help you imagine it, it’s kind of the same smell as the Lemon Dish Washing Up product… So clearly not the best sensation on the face.
Yes to – Grapefruit Pore Perfection Night Treatment
The Yes To Grapefruit is a massive product range that includes wipes, scrub and other masks. I decided to try the pore perfection night treatment to complete ma routine. I used it for the past 2 weeks now, after I removed my makeup and clean my face before bedtime. The cream gives a fresh feeling but is quite hard to be absorbed by the skin (and this is why it’s better to use it at night). The results are good so far, my skin looks way more fresh in the morning despite the lack of sleep!
